This is a set of five cases studies which tell the story of the development of some outstandingly innovative products. The products were all chosen from the Design Council's list of Millennium Products. Examples similar to these can be found on the case study section of the Design Council website.

The case studies concentrate on the development of these new designs through into manufacture and sales. They are all commercially viable and have been the subject of years of development before reaching the market.
