introduction

A communication project which investigates how the graphic design of posters and maps can encourage those social groups most at risk from heart disease - such as older people, low income families and certain ethnic communities - to join local walking groups and exercise regularly. Can graphic communication change patterns of behaviour by acting as a spur to 'walking the way to health'?
