Blogging in riksdagen

The popularity of blogging rises again with a bill introduced to the Swedish Parliment proposing that their webpage should be equiped with a blogging function so citizens are able to comment and improve on information.

Tobias Billström writes: "Blogging in riksdagen.se should be a natural thing" and points first and foremost to matters that are published on the webpage like notes, press releases and questions

A research project from Intel that's heavily based on contextual user research and worth a read.

Intel's Proactive Health Research is exploring the ways in which ubiquitous computing can support the daily health and wellness needs of people in their homes and everyday lives. Can proactive systems that anticipate a patient's needs improve the quality of life for both the patients and their caregivers?

Platforms for social innovation

Such a shame there is no Doors conference in Amsterdam this year...but they're offering you the chance to get to Doors East in New Dehli next year as part of their open doors challenge.

The excellent brief is to 'design platforms for social innovation' - something that enables people to organise daily life activities in new ways. Our Health project is not going to be ready in time but you still have untill the end of the month to enter.
