Innovation in Ageing
December 15, 2005, Jude

A post on the Putting People First blog drew my attention to CAST - the Centre for Ageing Services Technologies (CAST). CAST is made up of 400 technology companies, ageing services organizations, research universities, and government representatives and is leading in the States on developing and deploying technologies that can improve the ageing experience.

We will be beginning investigations around ageing in the first part of 2006. It will be very much an exploratory period. We welcome any flags on current innovation and new service approaches in this area - do comment or email me if you have any tips.

And thanks to ex-RED intern Alex at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea for directions to the Putting People First post!
